Agnes is a light lace shawl, perfect for early autumn. It has a top-down triangular construction using two main lace stitch patterns separated by small garter stitch borders and can be worked using one or two colours.

Yarn Weight: Sport, 4ply

Yarn: RiverKnits Aysgarth, (100% Wensleydale Wool, 350m per 100g skein)

1-Colour Shawl: A: Sloe Gin, 2 skeins

2-Colour Shawl: A: Sloe Gin, 2 skeins, B: Antique Pewter, 1 skein

Needles: 3.75mm (US 5), circular, 120cm long, or size required to achieve stated tension

Notions: 4 stitch markers Tapestry needle

Tension:
10x10cm = 15 sts x 30 rows over Chart A on 3.75mm needles while blocking
10x10cm = 16 sts x 31 rows over Chart A on 3.75mm needles after blocking and relaxing

Blocking Measurements:
1-colour shawl: 167 x 85cm (653⁄4 x 331⁄2”) 2-colour shawl: 199 x 101cm (781⁄4 x 393⁄4”)

Finished Measurements: After blocking, shawl will pull back in, reducing the size by a few cm in both directions. 

1-colour shawl: 159 x 81cm (621⁄2 x 313⁄4“) 2-colour shawl: 189 x 96cm (741⁄2 x 373⁄4“)
