Fiery Dragon Skin Cowl Kit

The blue button will take you to my Payhip store where you can choose your yarn and purchase a kit.

A picture of Fiery Dragon Skin Cowl lying flat with a Halloween tealight holder on it.

A lightweight, yet cosy, one ball cowl that is easier to make than it looks!

Worked in the round, the texture of the stitch pattern, which is derived from trellis stitch, combines well with the long gradient colour changes in Painted Desert to create the impression of dragon’s skin.

The sample shown was worked using Knitting Fever Painted Desert (100% wool, 400m/100g), and would also work very well with either of the two options offered here.

Yarn Options:

Fyberspates Vivacious 4-ply (100% Superwash Merino, 365m/100g), 1 skein, £22

CoopKnits Socks Yeah! (75% Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, 212m/50g), 2 skeins, £19

Needles required: 3.5mm (US 4), 60cm circular, or size to obtain gauge
