Little Orme Cowl

A thick and comforting stranded cowl that forms part of The Little Orme Collection. The palest green used here is Edamame which is slightly darker than the palest green in the mitts pattern (Celadon Heather).

Please note the colourwork pattern is presented as a chart only – it is not written out line by line.

Worked sideways in the round from a provisional cast-on, it has an invisible graft to join the two ends. If you don’t want to graft there’s an option for that. If you don’t want to graft OR use a provisional cast-on, there’s an option for that too!

Size variation given for cowl to be half as tall but twice as long – uses the same amount of yarn.

Yarn Suggested (Quantities used): Knit Picks Palette, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 211m (231yds)/50g:
MC – Mist, 2 x 50g balls (69g/292m used)
C1 – Forest Heather, 1 x 50g ball (15g/63m used)
C2 – Spearmint, 1 x 50g ball (12g, 51m used)
C3 – Edamame, 1 x 50g ball (12g, 51m used)

A note on yarn – One ball of each of the contrast colours is enough to make all three items from The Little Orme Collection (more of the MC is required).

Needles: 2 x 3.25mm circular needle, 40cm (or size to obtain gauge)
(The 2nd needle is for grafting the ends).

Notions: 1 stitch marker, Tapestry needle, Waste yarn for provisional cast-on, 3.25mm crochet hook for provisional cast-on, A third 3.25mm needle if using optional three needle bind off.
