Marmee (Mrs March) was the solid foundation of her family and so this cowl uses a single repeat of the pattern that all the other shawls in this collection derive from.
This cowl is worked flat and a small seam is made after blocking that converts an unusual shape into a wonderfully warm hooded cowl.

Note on Yardage: My sample used 380m of Light Colour and 360m of Dark Colour. Ensure you have enough yarn!
Needles: 4mm circular, 60cm long to start, up to 100cm long
Notions: 1 lockable stitch marker (for br4st dec), Tapestry needle
Tension: 10cm2 = 17 sts x 18 rows over Straight 2-colour Brioche Stitch (Rows 1-2) when blocked.
