Wrap yourself in luxury with a gorgeous scarf or wrap that features a traditional lace stitch pattern.
I found this stitch pattern in Barbara Walker’s Treasury of Knitting Patterns and charted it. This was one of my earliest designs, first published in 2013, and it is updated here with a change of yarn and needle size and a much-improved chart.
Yarn: Mirasol Umiña (50% alpaca, 50% wool, 225m/100g), 3 (4) skeins, Dandelion 10028
823.5m/366g yarn was used in for the full-sized wrap with 18 repeats of lace pattern.
Needles: 5mm circular, 60cm or straight, 30cm
10cm2 = 18 sts x 21.5 rows over Ogee Lace Pattern. One rep of Ogee Lace Pattern measures 13cm x 13cm (24 sts x 28 rows)
Scarf: 33 x 206 cm when blocked
Wrap: 46 x 238 cm when blocked
Pictured is the Wrap (Larger size) – this also works as a generous scarf
