Drifting Leaves

Originally released as the third MKAL with Yarn O’clock, Drifting Leaves is a lace and garter stitch wrap with travelling cables. There are two different lace patterns within the drifting leaf shapes to maintain the knitter’s interest as the stole/scarf progresses.

The pattern is both fully charted and fully written (Pages 1-12 are for the written pattern and Pages 13-20 are the charts)

Yarn Weight: Lace

Yarn: Chester Wool BFL Lace, (100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool,800m per 100g), 1 skein, undyed OR 800m any laceweight yarn

Needles: 4mm (US 6), straight or circular

Notions: Cable needle, Tapestry needle

Gauge: 10cm = 20 sts x 34 rows over garter st after blocking

One Size: 35cm x 200cm after blocking
