I reached out to Kath to tech edit my first jumper pattern and I’m very glad I did. The jumper is graded for 10 sizes and Kath painstakingly reviewed every number helping me to find errors and ensure consistency. In addition she utilised her extensive designing experience to bring suggestions for readability and knitability leaving me a lot more confident about bringing this first jumper pattern out to the public. Kath was great about price and time estimations up front and keeping me informed along the way and in my view the service was definitely money well spent.

In November 2025 I completed a comprehensive course on tech editing knitting patterns, run by Carol Ibbetson (see https://courses.coolwoolschool.com/collections/knitting-tech-editing) and am now able to offer my services as a tech editor for knitting patterns.

I’m happy to work on all types of knitting patterns, including multi-sized garments.
