Nubble Slip Stitch Hat

Worked in the round with a slipped stitch rib pattern that moves into a 2 colour corrugated slip stitch pattern, this is a warm and comfortable hat to wear. It is reversible and can be worn either way round.

This hat is designed to match the Nubble Slip Stitch Mitts. Choose a size that is slightly smaller than your head circumference.

Also available as a kit.

Suggested Yarn: Gwlan Cambrian Wool 4ply, (100% wool, 150m per 50g), MC: 1 ball for all sizes, CC: 1 ball for all sizes.

Needles: 3.25mm (US 3) DPNs/40cm circular needle or size to obtain gauge AND 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs/40cm circular needle or one size larger than size to obtain gauge.

Notions: 8 (9, 9) st markers, inc 1 contrasting marker, Tapestry needle

Gauge: 10cm = 37 sts x 37 rnds over Slip Stitch Rib Pattern using smaller needles, measured without stretching work

Finished measurements: Small: 49.5cm circumference, 20cm height, Medium: 52.5cm circumference, 22cm height, Large: 55.5cm circumference, 22cm height.
